Benefit review!

Aloha fellow bloggers!

After a mad week of being tweeted by Lord Alan Sugar himself for my previous blog and gaining a lot more blog readers I have decided to do another review this week!

About 3 weeks ago I decided to spend some well earned money and splash out on my first ever benefit purchase! I decided to get the porefessional primer which I haven't actually got round to using properly yet but it came in a little gift set with a cute mini sized sample of Benefits triple performing moisturiser.

I have never been one to use more what you classify as higher end products so I was very excited to start using this. I won't lie it was a rocky start as it's in such a small glass bottle I have had to master the art of actually getting enough out to use which at first was rather frustrating but after 2 weeks I have finally got to grips with using it a bit better!

I have been applying it to a freshly cleansed and toned face every morning and night. What I will say is great about this product is you only have to use a tiny amount but it goes such a long way!

I didn't notice much difference in the first couple days but when do you with any new moisturiser! I kept persisting with it because it smelt amazing and I have always heard good things about Benefit products! I decided to see just how good it was by not wearing make up at all while I'm trying the product out I really wanted to put this product to the test (Trust me I'm not one that feels great about being bare faced either!) Just after a week of using this product I honestly can't explain what it has been doing to my skin! It makes it so soft and honestly I haven't ever seen my skin so glowing and fresh! I really don't even feel the need to put any bb cream or foundation on at all this product is that good!

Sadly I don't have much product left so I reckon maybe another week or so and I will be very sad to see this beautiful little bottle of magic empty!

I will be 110% be re-purchasing this again in the most biggest size possible because I am so in love with it! I have quite dry skin aswell and as anyone out there reading this will understand what it's like having dry skin it is so hard to find something that really rehydrates it but for the first time ever since using this product I haven't suffered with peely or patchy skin which is just a massive confidence boost for me plus I'm starting to feel a lot better about being bare faced too which my partner is very happy about as he has always liked me being what he calls 'a natural beauty'!

Girls I really cannot stress how beautiful this product makes you feel and if you need a little pick me up or just want a bit of extra pampering and don't mind spending a little bit more on a moisturiser head to your closest shop that stocks benefit and buy it now! I especially recommend buying it in the gift pack that I got which you can see below to give yourself that extra pick me up your skin needs before applying your foundation as well!

Until next week,
Mel xox

Tropic review

Hello again fellow bloggers!

I'm going to be reviewing a brand named Tropic which is run by a lady named Susan Ma who was a contestant on the apprentice. She then started up the tropic business with Lord Sugar back in 2010 which now has such a wide variety of natural beauty and cosmetic products all of which are organic and don't include any nasty chemicals.

I had never heard of this brand until my hairdresser recommended it to me as I was looking to spend a little bit more time
and money on some nice skin care bits.

After hosting a Tropic pamper party back in 2013 I instantly fell in love with the products! They smelt so fresh and felt incredible on my skin. After trying out a few products from having a facial I had to buy them all!

My first purchases were:

The Tropic Smoothing Cleanser and Bamboo face cloth - £15

This takes of my make up so well with only a couple pumps which I just massage onto my face and rinse off using the bamboo cloth with some warm water. It leaves my skin smelling and feeling incredible too!

The Tropic Vitamin Toner - £12

I just spritz this a few times over my face and gently dab off with a dry face towel.
After doing this my face feels so smooth and clean I honestly can't describe the feeling.

After loving these two products I went on too buy the Face Smooth Brightening Polish - £15 which I thought was a bit on the pricey side but after purchasing my first pot of this yummy face scrub I couldn't not love this as well! One pot lasted me over 4months as you only need a tiny bit to work into your face and after it just feels so smooth and like you've had new skin put on! I'm on my second pot of this stuff and I have been using it every day because I just can't get enough of it.

My last purchase was a toughy because I was really struggling with break outs and incredibly dry skin so I treated myself to the Radiance Clay Mask - £20. They do two face masks but I haven't tried the mineral mask yet! Now this face mask is honestly the best £20 I have spent. It's like a mud mask but you don't need to use too much to get a nice even coverage over your face. It feels amazing once you've put it on and then you just rinse off after about 15-20 minutes later and my skin just looks so glowing and fresh. It truly is my face mask must have!

I know I have probably rambled on for a long time but I wanted to spend a while reviewing these products just because of how incredible they are! I cannot stress enough how natural and how amazing they make my skin feel! I urge everyone reading this to make an order now or at least host a party which are free and so much fun to get all the girls round for a few nibbles and drinks too! I'm just about to book another party soon myself! You can see all the products on the link below.

2015

Happy new year everyone!

I honestly can't believe it's 2015 already!

This year is time for me to get back to blogging more after having a break and focus on baking more yummy treats to spoil me and my baby bump! I am also going be doing some reviews on some nice treats I have come across over the winter months including make-up, food and just random little bits really!

Is there anything you would like to see me review at all or any reccomendations for new baking things you may have discovered too?

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas break and the back to work blues aren't too bad!

Ciao for now,
